Ohh its been a crazy first week I'm on the fundraising team this year I want to make sure we rise lotgs of money for are showcase. so the first big fun riser was on Wednesday 1st feb we put on a American fancy dress night at that the uni in the SU bar we all had jobs rolls and mine was to go on the door at 9pm till 9.30pm but I went on early because 2 of the girls didn't get there on time so I went on from 8pm till 9ish which I was happy to do I made sure people paid their £2 to get in and gave out fifth wristbands I also made sure the first years were ok and made sure they did some riffle ticket selling. we did have abit of an issue with the raffle tickets as at one point of the night the book was lefted and someone nicked a few tickets thinking she would win I soon worked out that she took both sides of the tickets so this meant we wouldn't pick out her unpaid ticket anyway thank god ... over all this was a great success and we raised ...... £381 woohoo well done everyone ...

Also this week I've looked in to rising money by skydive... yes I must be mad but I want to rise £1000 so I've looked in to company's who do it and found one called black knights but sadly they have a weight restriction which means I cant use this company but I will look for others I will be so gutted if I cant do this because of my weight.

I've been in contact with a lady called Tracy who works at Morrison's in Swinton and I've asked her if we can bag pack one Saturday or Sunday for a couple of hours to rise some money I've got to email with her with details of why would like to do it ect so that will be done this week.
